Peter Mayhew really got into character when he played chewbacca. His wife,Angie Luker, always talked about how when he came home from work, he still acted like he was at work. He was born on May 19, 1944. He is still living to this day. He is very tall.7 ft 3 in (2.21 m) to be exact. He even kind of looks like chewbacca.
